The Nomad Reverie does not sell, rent, or lease customer lists or personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes.

We may disclose or share personal information when reasonably necessary to provide our services, fulfill travel arrangements, operate our business, or comply with applicable law.

Depending on the services requested, personal information may be shared with:

  • Our host agency, WorldVia Travel Network, when necessary for booking, payment processing, supplier relationships, reporting, compliance, or other travel-agency operations

We may also disclose personal information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation; respond to lawful requests or legal process; protect the rights, safety, or property of The Nomad Reverie, our clients, or others; investigate suspected fraud or security incidents; or enforce our agreements and policies.

When personal information is provided to a travel supplier or other independent third party in connection with your travel arrangements, that party may process the information according to its own privacy policy, terms, and legal obligations. We encourage travelers to review the privacy practices of relevant travel suppliers and service providers.

The Nomad Reverie may communicate with clients or subscribers about travel-related promotions, services, or special offers from travel suppliers or other business partners. We do not provide customer contact lists to those third parties for their independent marketing purposes unless you have expressly consented or disclosure is otherwise permitted by applicable law.

To submit a privacy-related request, you may contact us at jessicao@thenomadreverie.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing a request and may request additional information when necessary to confirm that the request relates to you.

We will respond to verified privacy requests within the time required by applicable law. Certain information may be retained when necessary to complete travel arrangements, maintain required business or transaction records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or security incidents, or exercise or defend legal rights.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right available to you under applicable law.

V. Website Analytics and Tracking

The Nomad Reverie may use standard website analytics technologies to understand how visitors use our website and to help improve our website, services, and user experience.

These technologies may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the website, referring websites, general interaction with website content, browser type, device information, and similar usage data.

We may use this information to evaluate website traffic, understand which content or services are of interest to visitors, identify technical issues, and improve the performance and usefulness of our website.

The Nomad Reverie does not currently use website browsing activity for cross-context behavioral advertising, automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, or the sale of personal information.

We do not currently use advanced behavioral-tracking technologies such as session recording, heat mapping, or device fingerprinting. If our use of tracking or analytics technologies materially changes, we may update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

VI. Automatically Collected Information

When you visit The Nomad Reverie website, certain information may be collected automatically through standard website technologies, server logs, cookies, and analytics tools.

This information may include:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Domain name
  • Referring website or page
  • Pages viewed and general website activity
  • Date and time of access
  • Approximate geographic location derived from IP address
  • Other technical information reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the website

We may use automatically collected information to operate and maintain the website, understand website usage, improve website performance and content, troubleshoot technical issues, maintain security, prevent fraud or misuse, and generate general website statistics.

Automatically collected information may be processed by third-party website hosting, analytics, security, or technology providers that assist us in operating and improving our website.

VII. Links to Third-Party Websites

The Nomad Reverie website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, or services that are not operated or controlled by us.

This may include links to travel suppliers, booking or client-management platforms, social media sites, payment providers, insurance providers, travel resources, or other third-party services.

Once you leave our website or access a third-party website or service, that third party's own privacy policy, terms, and data practices will apply. The Nomad Reverie is not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or operation of third-party websites or services.

We encourage you to review the privacy policies and terms of any third-party website or service before providing personal information.

VIII. Security of Your Personal Information

The Nomad Reverie uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, disclosure, or loss.

These safeguards may include:

  • SSL/HTTPS encryption for information transmitted through our website
  • Password-protected accounts and systems
  • Multi-factor authentication where available
  • Restricted access to client and traveler information
  • Secure client-management and travel-planning platforms, including TERN
  • Secure third-party payment-processing services and approved host-agency or supplier payment systems
  • Reasonable procedures for managing, storing, and transmitting sensitive travel-related information

When personal information is transmitted to third-party websites or service providers, those parties may use their own security measures, including encryption and other technical safeguards.

While we take reasonable steps to protect personal information, no method of transmission over the Internet, wireless network, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of personal information.

If we become aware of a security incident involving personal information, we will investigate and respond in accordance with our internal procedures and applicable legal requirements.

IX. Requests to Delete Personal Information

Subject to applicable law, you may request that The Nomad Reverie delete personal information we maintain about you.

We may be unable to delete certain information when retaining it is reasonably necessary to:

  • Complete or manage travel arrangements or other services you have requested
  • Perform or enforce a contract or other agreement with you
  • Maintain transaction, accounting, tax, booking, or business records
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, reporting, or recordkeeping obligations
  • Detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, security incidents, misuse, or unlawful activity
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
  • Resolve disputes or respond to complaints
  • Protect the rights, safety, or property of The Nomad Reverie, our clients, or others
  • Maintain information that we are otherwise permitted or required to retain under applicable law

If personal information has been shared with an independent travel supplier, host agency, payment processor, insurance provider, or other third party in connection with your travel arrangements or our services, that third party may have its own legal or operational requirements for retaining the information. A deletion request submitted to The Nomad Reverie may therefore not result in deletion of information maintained independently by those third parties.

To request deletion of personal information, contact us at jessicao@thenomadreverie.com. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before processing the request.

X. Data Security Incidents and Breach Notification

The Nomad Reverie maintains reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational procedures designed to identify, investigate, respond to, and document suspected security incidents involving personal information.

If we become aware of a security incident, we may take steps appropriate to the circumstances, including:

  • Investigating the nature and scope of the incident
  • Taking reasonable measures to contain or limit unauthorized access or disclosure
  • Working with relevant technology providers, service providers, travel suppliers, payment processors, or other parties when appropriate
  • Preserving information necessary to investigate and document the incident
  • Taking reasonable corrective or preventive measures
  • Providing notice to affected individuals, government authorities, regulators, or other parties when required by applicable law

Any legally required notification will be provided in the manner and within the timeframe required by applicable law.

Because some personal information may be stored or processed by independent third-party service providers, a security incident affecting one of those providers may also be subject to that provider's own incident-response and notification obligations.

XI. Children Under 13

The Nomad Reverie website is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website for marketing or other unrelated purposes.

In connection with family or group travel, we may receive personal information about a traveler under the age of 13 when that information is provided by a parent, legal guardian, or other authorized adult and is reasonably necessary to plan, book, or manage travel arrangements.

Information about a minor traveler may include the child's name, date of birth, passport or travel-document information, travel preferences, dietary or allergy information, accessibility or mobility needs, and other information necessary to arrange or provide travel services.

Personal information about children under 13 will be used only for legitimate travel-planning, booking, operational, legal, safety, or service-related purposes and may be shared with travel suppliers, our host agency, insurance providers, government authorities, or other service providers when reasonably necessary to provide or manage the requested travel services.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us at jessicao@thenomadreverie.com with questions regarding personal information we maintain about a child or to request access, correction, or deletion, subject to applicable law and any legal or operational requirements that may require certain information to be retained.

If we learn that we have collected personal information directly from a child under 13 in a manner that is not consistent with this Policy or applicable law, we will take reasonable steps to address the situation.

XII. Email Communications

The Nomad Reverie may communicate with prospective and existing clients by email regarding inquiries, consultations, trip planning, proposals, bookings, payment or deadline reminders, itinerary updates, travel requirements, pre-departure information, post-trip follow-up, customer support, and other service-related matters.

We may also send newsletters, travel inspiration, promotions, supplier offers, or other marketing communications when permitted by applicable law and when the recipient has consented or otherwise opted in to receive such communications.

Emails sent by or on behalf of The Nomad Reverie may include technologies that allow us or our service providers to determine whether an email was opened or whether a link within the email was clicked. We may use this information to evaluate communication effectiveness, improve client service, and better understand engagement with our communications.

You may opt out of promotional or marketing emails at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link included in a marketing email or by contacting The Nomad Reverie directly at jessicao@thenomadreverie.com and requesting removal from marketing communications.

Opting out of marketing communications will not prevent us from sending transactional, operational, or service-related emails that are reasonably necessary to manage an inquiry, consultation, active client relationship, travel booking, payment obligation, itinerary, or other requested service.

XIII. External Data Storage and Third-Party Service Providers

The Nomad Reverie uses third-party service providers and technology platforms to host, store, process, transmit, and manage personal information in connection with our website, client services, travel planning, communications, payments, and business operations.

These providers may include website hosting companies, client-management and travel-planning platforms such as TERN, payment processors, email and communication providers, analytics providers, host-agency systems, and other technology or service providers that support our operations.

Personal information may therefore be stored or processed on servers or systems operated by third parties on our behalf or as part of the services they provide to us.

Some travel suppliers, payment processors, host agencies, insurance providers, and other third parties may independently store or process personal information that is provided to them in connection with your travel arrangements or requested services. Their handling of personal information may be governed by their own privacy policies, security practices, and legal obligations.

We take reasonable steps to select and use service providers that are appropriate for the nature of the services they provide, but we do not control the independent privacy or security practices of third parties.

XIV. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Nomad Reverie may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, business practices, technology, legal requirements, or data-protection practices.

When we make changes, we will update the effective or "Last Updated" date shown at the bottom of this Privacy Policy.

If we make a material change to the way we collect, use, or disclose personal information, we may provide additional notice as appropriate, such as by posting a prominent notice on our website or communicating directly with affected individuals when required by applicable law.

We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how The Nomad Reverie handles personal information.
